SigenStack: Tailored for large-scale C&I applications

SigenStack is designed specifically for large commercial and industrial (C&I) energy storage projects, integrating a hybrid inverter with the BAT 12.0 battery pack. The inverter series provides a range of power options from 50kW to 125kW, ensuring seamless compatibility with various storage configurations. Each stack accommodates 4 to 7 batteries, and multiple stacks can be combined to allow a single inverter to manage up to 21 battery modules – making the system highly scalable for multi-megawatt projects.

Key benefits of SigenStack

1. Smallest and lightest C&I inverter: SigenStack’s 125 kW hybrid inverter is 19% lighter and 36% smaller than competitors, fitting up to 165 inverters in a 40ft container. This reduces installation complexity and construction costs, making them more feasible and cost-effective.

2. Pack-level safety protection: SigenStack sets a new industry benchmark for battery safety with a dedicated fire suppression system for every 12kWh. It detects thermal runaway 60 seconds faster and is 160 times more precise than container-based systems. The six layers of protection-temperature sensors, internal fire extinguishers, aerogel insulation, decompression valves, high-temperature-resistant pads, and smoke sensors-ensure comprehensive safety at every level.

3. Efficient DC-coupled system:
SigenStack’s DC-coupled design eliminates the need for PV inverters, data loggers, and AC combiners, reducing both initial equipment costs and ongoing maintenance. Compared to AC-coupled systems, DC-coupling minimizes energy conversion losses, resulting in higher energy output and improved returns on investment. This design also boosts round-trip efficiency by 2%.

4. Fast installation and commissioning: Thanks to modular design, SigenStack can quickly connect. One system can be installed in one hour, with commissioning in just 15 minutes. Its stackable, lightweight units speed up deployment and avoid the need for heavy lifting equipment and complex wiring often associated with larger systems.

5. Minimal maintenance: With an IP66 rating and 24/7 cloud-based monitoring, SigenStack minimises maintenance needs and costs, outperforming traditional systems that require regular, complex upkeep.

SigenStor: The all-in-one five-in-one energy storage system

SigenStor is an integrated 5-in-1 energy storage system, combining a solar inverter, PCS, EMS, EVDC charging module, and battery pack within a single solution. Suitable for both residential and CandI scenarios, SigenStor features a modular battery design with 5kWh and 8kWh options, supporting up to 48kWh of total storage capacity, per SigenStor stack. The system can also be designed using Sigen Gateway for off-grid capabilities for both residential and commercial scenarios, giving secure stable power in the event of outages.

Since its introduction, SigenStor has quickly gained popularity in the market. According to Frost and Sullivan, Sigenergy shipped 231 MWh of stackable all-in-one distributed energy storage systems (DESS) between Q1 and Q3 of 2024, securing the highest market share at 24.3%. In a competitive landscape where the top five players represented 74.5% of total shipments, Sigenergy ranked third overall with a 5.9% share. A 2024 customer satisfaction survey further indicated that nearly 90% of end-users and installers rated SigenStor positively, underscoring its reliability and customer appeal.
