RESS 6 timetable

The upcoming RESS 6 auction will be the first RESS auction to implement the non-price criteria requirements stipulated under Article 26 of the EU’s Net Zero Industry Act (NZIA).

This will necessitate the introduction of a range of new pre-qualification criteria and non-price award criteria. As such, significant changes to the auction design are required to comply with the NZIA and associated Implementing Acts.

The table below sets out dates for the main milestones for the sixth onshore Renewable Electricity Support Scheme Competition (RESS 6).
