Geophysicist and Head of Technical Section, Department of Communications, Climate Action and Environment
Clare Morgan is a Geophysicist and is Head of Technical Section, Petroleum Affairs Division (PAD) of the Department of Communications, Climate Action and Environment. Clare’s role involves the management of the PAD technical team, with a view to maximising the benefits to the State from exploration for and production of indigenous oil and gas resources. Clare has worked on exploration and development projects offshore Ireland since 1997. Prior to working with the Department, Clare worked in the private sector for ConocoPhillips for 10 years and had a petroleum consultancy business for 20 years.
