Energy Ireland 2017

Looking beyond 2020

Energy Ireland 2017 would like to thank all our attendees, sponsors, speakers and exhibitors for another insightful and busy conference. With a focus on looking to Ireland’s energy future beyond 2020 during what is an increasingly chaotic time, delegates discussed the key issues for the energy sector including infrastructure investment, disruption in energy markets and renewables. Over 40 visiting and local speakers took part in the conference over two days including Energy Minister Denis Naughten TD who gave a keynote address at the conference outlining the future priorities for energy policy. The locknote address was provided by visiting German speaker Arne Jungjohann, Author of Energy Democracy and Former Ministerial Advisor who gave an overview of Germany’s renewables. We are looking forward to Energy Ireland in June 2018! Keep up to date with the latest conference news by following us on twitter @energyireland
