Energy Institute: Ireland 2050

Ireland 2050 is an Energy Institute initiative to empower and enable everybody to participate in the debate about Ireland’s energy future.

The Energy Institute’s David Taylor and Ireland 2050 ambassador Bláthnaid Treacy meet with pupils from Ashbourne Community School to discuss the choices Ireland faces in the move towards decarbonisation

Bláthnaid Treacy visits the Science Gallery at Trinity College, Dublin for the launch of Ireland’s My2050 programme. Transition Year students from Ashbourne Community School contribute to the debate and communicate ideas which will help to reduce Irish carbon emissions by 80 per cent by 2050.
